Alex is passionate about collaboration, an essential ingredient for cultural destination success, and after 25 years of patient work with cultural organisations and consortia in destinations around the UK, there really isn’t much she doesn’t know about how to build and sustain effective partnerships. Happily, she also combines the right mix of empathy and challenge to bring it about and is adept at teasing out the shared narratives and stories that make up the distinctive, living fabric of a place. Alex has supplied the leadership, ideas and energy driving our Manchester working partnership – the tried and tested inspiration behind the innovative Creative Tourist model of practice.
